Ethan

Recently, a Healing Waters "amigo" by the name of Ethan did a fundraising event with his 1st grade class.  The class did a “service learning” unit where they learned about different non-profits. Then they divided in to groups and picked a topic to learn more about and an organization that works in that area. Ethan’s group picked global water issues and the environment and did research on the topic with some help from Healing Waters International. The culmination of the unit was two days that they spent educating others and fundraising at their school. They presented their research and raised money for the organizations they decided to support. Ethan’s group raised $120 for Healing Waters International by selling bottles of water, coffee, cookies and juice boxes.
