Geneseo High School Spanish Class

The advanced Spanish class at Geneseo High School in Geneseo Illinois loves clean drinking water! Back in February the class was studying environmental issues in Latin America and they talked with Healing Waters via video-conferencing.
The class got very excited about safe drinking water in Latin America and the work that Healing Waters was doing there, so they put on their thinking caps or gorras de pensamientos and brainstormed a fun way to raise money. They all brought in milk jugs, decorated the jugs and then spent a week walking around school educating people about the global safe drinking water crisis and collecting spare change.
