Blessing in Petapa

(2009-01-27) [feature story]

Healing Waters had the opportunity to share a blessing to many children in the community of Petapa during the holidays.

The Church of the Nazarene, House of Prayer conducted different activities during the school holidays with children in the community of San Miguel Petapa. During one and a half month the church used the “community service funds” from the water purification system for such recreational activities.

These activities included games, snacks, piñatas with candy, crafts, songs, and others, so that children who were not attending school could share moments of leisure time.

This time ended with a holiday activity for all children who had been attending for the month and a half of leisure activities.

The Church gives thanks to God for the water purification system that is installed in the community because through it they have been able to bring people together, teach more about the love of Jesus and provide healthy activities during the holidays to all those children who, for lack of funds cannot enroll in other educational courses while they are not in school.
