Paul Petersen Elected to Healing Waters’ Board of Directors

CEO Ed Anderson announced the election of Paul Petersen to the board of directors of Healing Waters International effective January 1, 2009. Paul comes with an impressive track record of experience and success in both the non-profit and for-profit worlds.
For almost 20 years Paul held executive positions with World Vision International ranging from Programme Director, Indonesia Tsunami Response to Associate Director of Government Relations in Washington, DC.
In addition, Paul and his family invested many years of their lives working in Africa, Asia, and Latin America. Paul has secured millions of dollars from the U.S. Government funding projects in Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam, and Thailand. In addition, he has led and managed field operations in Colombia, Kenya, and Costa Rica.
Currently, Paul is the Principal in his own consulting firm providing leadership coaching for executives in addition to a broad portfolio of organizational tools, processes, and skills.

Healing Waters International is a non-profit organization founded in 2002 that works to reduce water-related illness and death in developing countries by building self-sustaining projects that make safe drinking water accessible to the poor and empower local churches to bring physical, social and spiritual healing to their communities.
