Really big things can happen
when clean water reaches a community that has never had access to it. New jobs are created, young women can stay in school, and children are healthy. Everyone thrives! We work with the local community to set up sustainable clean water and health and hygiene programs. When our purification systems are installed, the locals have complete ownership. We aren’t serving weak, helpless people, we are working alongside strong, intelligent brothers and sisters. You see, we don’t give free aid, we give the tools and resources needed to empower a community: body, mind and soul. Clean water changes bodies. Education changes minds. Living Water changes souls.
This isn’t charity. It’s our duty and our privilege.
We turn dirty water into:
HEALTH
3.5 million people die each year from dirty water, and lack of sanitation and hygiene. When clean water is introduced into a community, sickness and disease drop significantly. Diarrhea, the 3rd leading cause of child death, is reduced by 45%.
EDUCATION
Clean water gives back 413 million days of school to children. For a girl who spends up to 6 hours each day collecting water, clean water in her community means she has the time and energy to attend school!
JOBS
Our model gives locals the opportunity to create a sustainable business, selling water at competitive prices. We provide the training necessary to run and manage a business that is culturally relevant.
DREAMS
When a community is not constantly sick and has access to safe, affordable drinking water, people can thrive. They can dream big and we think that is what community development is really about!
We believe in creating solutions that not only give clean water to thirsty people all over the world but also brings holistic & sustainable change to their communities.
