The Community That Isn’t On a Map

“How do you select where you’re going to put a clean water project?”

I got this question the other day when I was talking with a guest who was visiting our office and checking out our water purification systems. After taking a few seconds to think about it, I got to share with her how every one of our projects have come from faithful friends introducing Healing Waters to communities that lack access to affordable clean water. Once people see the benefits that come from bringing safe water to their own community, they immediately think about their friends in other areas that need the same thing. That’s how we select new communities to place clean water projects in—through authentic local relationships.

This project opportunity in Jerusalem, Haiti came to fruition in the same way. An existing Healing Waters operator introduced our staff to a faithful pastor who is desperate to bring clean water to his community.

We’re on a mission to end the global water crisis. We build holistic clean water solutions and spread God’s love in at-risk communities around the world, empowering people not just to survive, but to thrive – physically, socially and spiritually.
